Something else I actually managed to finish...I've been on a roll this week so there are actually quite a few things finished...Enjoy looking.

A wee bit ago now, I started with one pod...now there are many pods...and the pods are a happy happy family. I'm so bad at making beads, loving them just as beads, so they stay, just beads. This time however I made a real effort to do something with the 1 lonely pod that it started with, and I love how it turned out.




So here are the pods by their lone selves.

And here are the pods in a happy family. The rest of the beads are made from polymer clay also, from a skinner blend using the same colours in the pods.

Am playing with blends, skinner blends, at the moment, and I find these beads the best way to show off the gorgeous colours that come out...

A group of friends and I have monthly challenges, and the challenge for March is blends. So this bead is the result of a 3 part skinner blend that I turned into a striped stack cane. It's made using thin slices and wrapping them round scrap clay...
